Some of the most commonly used convolution kernels are built-in and include the following: smooth, sharpen, horizontal edging, vertical edging, horizontal gradient, vertical gradient, shadowing, and laplacian. Permits you to set scale ranges and minimum and maximum threshhold values for your output. Allows you to write the output to a new window or replace the data image of the currently active window.
